Gros débuts des Knicks… Randolph et Curry sont seuls.
A Minny le trio exter est pas mal mais Thompson est en crise d’adresse quand même on attend bien plus de lui. Markieff aussi se chie un peu dessus.
Première demi-vague parfaite (4-0) avec un Westbrook survolté (24pts-9rbs-6,5pds-2,3int) qui aurait sans douté merité le titre de joueur de la semaine. Il a bien été secondé par Josh Smith (20,5pts-12rbs-4,5pds-3blks), mais la bonne surprise, c’est le jeune pivot, Greg Monroe qui a affiché 12,8pts à 57%-8,8rbs (19d’eval) en 26min.
Ces victoires sont dû à une grosse défense (83,3pts de moyenne de points encaissé, jamais au dessus de 87 durant la demi-vague), ce qui doit être notre marque de fabrique cette saison (du moins l’équipe a été construite ainsi), on va pas s’enflammer surtout après une pré-saison mauvaise, mais ce qui est pris, n’est plus à prendre.

La seconde demi-vague est évidemment très satisfaisante puisqu’en 5 rencontres, nous nous inclinons seulement face au Magic, l’autre équipe surprise de l’Est.
4 belles victoires donc, gràce notamment à un ENORME Josh Smith, élu joueur de la semaine (36,6d’eval dont une pointe à 55 face aux « terribles » louveteaux de Minny), bien aidé par le « nouveau » Westbrook (20,4pts-5,5rbs-9,2pds pour 24d’eval en 34min).
Greg Monroe a été beaucoup plus discret lors de cette vague, mais bon, on va pas lui en vouloir, puis on continue de gagner, alors que Braldey, pas encore productif en attaque, montre des qualités évidentes en défense. Puis pour le moment notre banc apporte plus que prévu. On est sans doute en sur-régime, mais autant en profiter pour pourquoi pas retrouver les POs une 13ème fois.
Il nous a marché dessus le Josh. Encore trop tendre le Kieff. Mais Brandon a bien répondu face aux Clippers.
On va faire quelques ajustements inside mais on est satisfait de nos extérieurs même si Klay doit mettre dedans plus régulièrement.
Bonne première V1 ! le duo Lee-Bosh c’est mammouth !

James est absolument partout. Barbosa s’est mué en un meneur organisateur mais due à un tempo Slow contre un Very FAST ou FAST ces dernières saisons. Il prend donc pour l’instant 5 shoots de moins par match que l’an dernier.
En espérant qu’on garde ce rythme !
